Musical cross-class romance featuring Sunder (Dev Anand) and Nisha (Asha Parekh) whose childhood betrothal is broken off, when the girl's father becomes a millionaire. When Rupsinghji discovered the fact about Sunder, he selected crafty estate Manager Sohanlal as his future son-in-law, threatened to close his doors against Nisha forever incase if she marries Sunder. Nisha hesitated to walk out without his beloved.Rupsinghji started preparations for his daughter's marriage with Sohanlal. Nisha's aunt stepped in, she told her the truth and where her duty surely called. Nisha appeared before Sunder and her eyes glistening with tears, he swept her into his loving arms.On the auspicious day, there appeared two bridegrooms parties & they lived happily everafter.
