Flipper A unique, one-of-a-kind movie! Both Elijah Wood and Paul Hogan has earned overwhelmingly positive reviews and is considered by many to be one of the best films of the year! Maybe thats what makes the movie so good.The great cast includes Elijah Wood, Paul Hogan, Jonathan Banks, Robert Deacon, Ann Carey. The movie moves on like a dream and end leaving you wanting for more.

The 1963 film that inspired a popular television series about a chatty, lovable dolphin gets a sunny makeover in this 1996 update. Elijah Wood plays Sandy, a bleak adolescent from Chicago struggling with the recent divorce of his parents and wanting only to immerse himself in familiar comforts. Instead, Sandy is sent to Coral Key, an island off Australia, to spend a summer with his Uncle Porter (Paul Hogan), a benevolent old fisherman. The sights and pleasures of the island, including a pretty neighbor named Kim (Jessica Wesson), aren't enough to shake off Sandy's gloomy outlook. But when he meets Flipper while boating with Porter, his morale improves considerably, then gets another boost when Flipper develops a loyal attachment to him. A subplot about a crooked charter-boat company dumping toxic waste off the coast feels like a necessary evil, just to give the screenwriter something to do. Other than that, the film is quite fun and charming, and Hogan is a pleasure to see with his cracker-barrel wisdom. Great fun all around for ages 6 and up. --Tom Keogh

I really loved the movie Martian Successor Nadesico - Secrets & Lies. I really enjoyed watching Spike Spencer in this movie. I also think Jennifer K. Earhart was great!

Summary of Martian Successor Nadesico - Secrets & Lies:
Revelations, threats, and decisions pile up as this rollicking sci-fi adventure comedy continues. The Nadesico is to be commandeered by the United Earth Forces and Akito, the reluctant hero of the series, relieved of his duties. Both Nergal Heavy Industries and the military are very interested in Akito, as he seems to have demonstrated an ability to teleport between planets using the blue Chulip Crystals found on Mars. Typically, he doesn't remember how--or if--he teleported from Mars; he only recalls waking up on Earth. Meanwhile, Yurika refuses to give up her one-sided romance with Akito and cheerfully defies the ambitious Erina Won. Megumi and Minato make an astonishing discovery about the identity of the "Jovian Lizards" who are at war with Earth: the pilot's capsule in the captured Jovian mobile suit contains toys from the spoof '70s mecha series "Gekigangar III"! Director Tatsuo Sato takes the story to new heights of absurdity in "Let's Go with Hot-Blooded Anime": the casts of Nadesico and "Gekigangar" watch each other's programs, borrowing ideas for weapons and complaining about the plots. Among American TV cartoons, only Rocky and Bullwinkle and The Simpsons dared this kind of outrageous self-parody.
